Bakery Profile: Sweet E's Cupcakes, Martha's Vineyard

Sadly, it is way way way too hot and humid to be baking cupcakes. I'm not even going to look at my oven until the temperature in Boston drops below human melting levels.

So, since I am not baking any new cupcakes for a bit, I figured that this is a perfect opportunity to feature a delicious cupcake bakery that I visited over the weekend on Martha's Vineyard.

This little bakery opened in June of last year but I hadn't gotten the opportunity to visit until just this past weekend. I have, however, been following their tweets on Twitter which are quite amusing (I'd even go so far as to say 'marketing genius'!). Check them out: http://twitter.com/SweetEonMV

Here are the pics that Sam took from our visit (and yes, we asked permission to do so):

Bakery store front on Main Street in Vineyard Haven.

Cupcakes on display.

Black Velvet - I need to give this recipe a try!

Chocolate Vanilla - I love the display and presentation!

Coconut! :)
All of the cupcakes were in these pretty china cabinets and were 'help yourself'.

Lemon - these look amazing... and so cute!

It wouldn't be a 'camping' weekend without S'mores.

Salted Caramel - notice how the display seems to be missing one - yeah, Sam and I ate it.
It was delicious! I need to try to find this recipe and make them for myself.

Yarn cupcakes - these were on display and are adorable so I couldn't help but take a picture.

So, the next time you find yourself on Martha's Vineyard, I highly recommend that you check out this little cupcake bakery. You won't regret it! :)

Now, everyone do a 'bring the temperature down' dance for me so that I can start baking again. :)
